How
You Can Help
We
have a team of young people in college. We have dozens more
who are sending in applications. We have 800 students in Marin
who need to hear our dynamic motivational Speaker's Bureau.
All of these young people are from families of color in Northern
California and Los Angeles. We have helped them win statewide
prizes and scholarships. Many of them work two and three jobs
while they go to school. So to relieve their burdens we have
given them stipends to aid in their support. We have found
them better paying jobs; we have aided them in transferring
to higher quality schools.
It's
costly. But we've done a lot with a little. Now it's time
for us to do lots more.
Now
