Five 4 Five’s New Advising Practice for Families, Teens and New Adults: “Because Life is a Wild Ride” As we all know life can be wonderful, scary, illuminating. The critical years of entering adulthood often need the guidance of someone who knows what success is like and can guide others to it. We of Five 4 Five have proven our ability to help young people make it in the world. We are expanding our advisory services as a money raising project for Five 4 Five. Here’s how you can help. If you know of friends, colleagues, teens or twenty-something new adults who are having trouble in making career decisions or in taking a new, healthier path in life, you can tell them about our services and how we work: • This work is a consulting practice not psychotherapy. It is designed to use my 20 years experience mentoring young people to become sane and successful adults. As chief consultant, I help families and young people create positive career choices, network and gain support from peers and business and education professionals who stand ready to help them. With this boost, young people will be able to choose meaningful work so they can take pride in what they ultimately do for a living. • I have significant experience in:
• Though this is a non-religious approach to problem solving, I have extensive experience in pastoral counseling from my training in the Ministry, that gives me the basis of my practice. • My hours are Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings in my home in Fairfax • Fees are payable to Five 4 Five. This means that the money paid for each session goes to help others. As my clients are helping themselves they are also helping other families and young people. I believe there are many paths to success in this world. Much can be done if we spend the time, the energy and the resources to guide young people in a direction that works!
